Guests have been coming to the inn along Route 11, "Simonsville Road", for over 180 years by wagon, carriage, and automobile. The trip is quicker now but the Vermont hospitality is still the same. A warm fire, a good meal, and the chance to explore the countryside still awaits the discerning traveler at Rowell's Inn. |
| Maple Syrup making has changed some since this picture was taken but can still be viewed and enjoyed at nearby farms in March & April. There are many covered bridges close by to see and photograph. Although pets are not accommodated at the inn some of the local ones still like to hang around, just like the group pictured to the left. The innkeeper hopes you have enjoyed this brief history of the inn and looks forward to answering any questions you have. See you soon.
